Flexing your diagnostic muscles with endoscopy
This two-day workshop is meant for general practitioners who all wanting to improve their endoscopy skills, or those who are wanting to do endoscopy but don’t know where to start. Flexible endoscopy can be daunting, the equipment is often delicate and expensive and as good veterinary practitioners we really want to offer our clients an excellent service. Having spent eight years in academia and being involved actively in clinical teaching across all levels of veterinary practise from undergraduate students to residents, Richard have developed a passion for teaching clinical skills. At the end of this workshop, you should be confident and excited to do your next endoscopic examination! The workshop will include theory sessions to help you grasp all aspects of endoscopy in general practise from understanding your equipment, so that you can get the best out of it, to marketing your equipment and also, crucially, to understand the clinical applications and indications for endoscopy.
The workshop will be interactive and fun and will be an opportunity to hopefully make some new friends and contacts and to share experiences, frustrations and the joys and triumphs of clinical practise as we try as a group to move forward and become better vets. During this workshop you will get to work with some state-of-the-art endoscopic equipment, with technical experts on hand that will be able to answer all of your questions about caring appropriately for your precious equipment.
