This one-day workshop teaches clinical management, practical manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises for management of common disorders of the forelimb and post operative rehabilitation management. Live dogs maximise the learning experience. You will leave the day with the skills to start offering forelimb rehab as a new service in your clinic. The workshop is suitable for both veterinarians and veterinary nurses.

Elena graduated from the Ohio State University in Physiotherapy and previously owned Physiotherapy NZ, a multi-clinic human physiotherapy practice. She is a NZ registered human physiotherapist and is certified as a canine rehabilitation therapist through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute in the USA, where she is now an instructor for the course.
Elena has undergone extensive post graduate courses and internships in the USA and Australia and has gained significant experience in orthopaedics, spinal rehab, manual therapy, neurology and sports medicine in both humans and animals. Elena owns AnimalPhysioNZ and leads a team of canine rehabilitation therapists in Christchurch, New Zealand. Elena has also set up a rehabilitation clinic in Spain within a Galgos (Spanish Greyhound) sanctuary, where she frequently travels to volunteer.
