Dr Damian Chase BVSc, MANZCVS, DECVS, European and NZ Registered Specialist in Small Animal Surgery

Gastrointestinal surgery is a core component of small animal practice, yet it remains an area where many veterinarians want greater confidence, sharper technique, and more hands-on experience. This two-day wet-lab workshop is designed for veterinarians at any stage of their career who want to refresh or elevate their abdominal surgery skills, from exploratory laparotomy and enterotomy through to intestinal anastomosis and the surgical management of GDV. Day one combines focused seminar content with case-based discussion, before delegates move into a fully hands-on wet-lab on day two, practising the techniques, tips, and approaches that translate directly into better surgical outcomes and greater confidence in theatre.
