Dr. Lee Beever BVetMed, MVetMed, PGCert (Vet Ed), DipECVS, MRCVS, European, RCVS and New Zealand Specialist in Small Animal Surgery

Chronic and end-stage ear disease is one of the most common and frustrating problems in general practice, yet many veterinarians hesitate to offer the surgical solutions that can deliver lasting relief. This one-day hands-on wet-lab is designed to build confidence in case selection, develop practical skills in core ear procedures, and equip veterinarians to prevent and manage complications. Under the guidance of experienced surgical instructors, delegates will review essential surgical anatomy and then work on cadavers through the core procedures. These run from pinna resection and lateral wall resection through to Total Ear Canal Ablation with Lateral Bulla Osteotomy (TECA-LBO) and Ventral Bulla Osteotomy (VBO), with a focus on end-stage ear disease and feline polyps.
